Veypor v2.92 and VR2 v1.92

- The high shift light value dictates the range of the RPM bar graph.
- Fixed VXB compatibility issue with Veypor units.
- Removed the decimal speed digit on Race B Graphics.
- Lap delta in race graphics C now displays "0" Veypor units (Only VR2 supports Lap Delta).
- Enabled switching to Race Graphics C by holding down the menu button during driving mode.

- Increased maximum number of viewable lap times on the Veypor/VR2 to 42.
- Fixed an issue with saving the contrast ratio value.
- Added preliminary support for VAB (coming summer of 2007).

Veypor v2.67 and VR2 v1.67

- added a lap delta calculation when lap timing on the VR2. The bar graph on symmetric and overlap modes displays the time difference between the current and previous lap, in real time. If you are currently doing better than the previous lap then the bar graph will indicate this difference. The graph shows a range of +/- 5 seconds over the previous lap. A reading of -2 indicates you are currently 2 seconds faster than the previous lap at this point on the track.
- updated VAS download algorithm to include speed and accuracy of downloading data. Requires VAS 1.4.1 or better.
- added manual distance input for Distance Triggered Lap Timing.
- User can enter the track length in X.xxx Km or Miles or measure it as before.
- Track length is saved so it doesn't have to be re-entered each time.
- Fixed accel/speed glitch that occurs on odometer updates.
- When changing profiles with different driving graphics, the graphics now change and a reboot to see the correct graphics is not required.
- Invalid gears are not displayed when no gear calibration has been performed.
- max velocity is fixed for run timing modes.
- Timer in race graphics no longer shows garbage after 9 minutes and 59 seconds has elapsed.

Veypor v2.55 and VR2 v1.55 (July 19, 2006)

- Added more robustness to odometer reset errors.
- Roll-on start and stop points have 1mph/kph granularity instead of 10mph/kph.
- VXB Enter can now be used to start distance triggered lap timing.
- The driving display graphics no longer show zeroes after returning from making adjustments to the RPM settings while the bike is running.
- An option lets you select whether to display the current gear ratio (final drive) or the gear number.

Veypor v2.52 and VR2 v1.52 (May 6, 2006)

- Can now change the first three digits in the DynoMode Start RPM value (resolution of 100 RPM).
- Fixed a few display issues with the new Race2 graphics mode.
- Max velocity in driving mode is now stored permanently, even when the Veypor is powered down.
- Added a second race graphics mode featuring an instrument layout optimized for racing.
- Improved Drag Coefficient calculation accuracy.

Veypor v2.50 and VR2 v1.50 (Mar 25, 2006)

- Added new "Speed Filter" for fine tuning speed detection.
- Added VIR configuration dialog to use VIR or VIRv2 lap timers.
- After completing a lap, the lap times are shown on top of the existing instrumentation so that you can still see your RPM, Gear, and speed while the lap time is displayed.

- holding down both buttons in Driving Mode to reset/fill the fuel tank no longer resets the tripmeter as well.
- Separate Odometer and Tripmeter for each vehicle profile.
- when saving runs the next empty slot is automatically selected by default.

- Supports manual entry of 5-digit fuel coefficients
- Added digital filter to reduce VIR false triggering due to noisy power supplies.
- Added Max Velocity value to "Alternate Driving Graphics" screen - reset by holding down the ENTER key.
- In Driving Mode hold down both buttons for 3 seconds to fill Fuel tank to default full level and reset fuel stats - equivalent to using the "Fill Tank" option in the Fuel Tools mode.

Veypor v2.40 and VR2 v1.40 (Nov 25, 2005)

- added Hour Meter functions:

  • Contains two independent maintenance timers.
  • Set a timer to a specific number of hours and the timer will decrement only when the engine is running
  • When the timer expires a warning message will be displayed
  • Use timers to schedule oil changes, and other general maintenance
- saved run titles now display specific run information to help distinguish them
- drag coefficient data can now be saved in a run slot
- needle range of the speedo in analog graphics mode now works properly according to the max value set in the config menu
- dyno runs, roll-ons etc, now default to last previous values used, so that users can perform multiple runs and not have to set the start/stop values every time
- removed unnecessary leading 0's from all displayed values
- created a sub-menu of Vehicle tools that contains the Hour Meter and Fuel Toolbox
- fixed some issues with the Veypor resetting when saving runs

- Fuel Toolbox major feature update. Monitor fuel usage, drive more efficiently and save fuel costs:
  • Calculates an accurate fuel consumption curve based on riding habits and fuel in the tank.
  • Provides current mileage estimate, distance on tank, and distance remaining.
  • Keeps track of the distance covered and remaining on the current tank.
  • Estimates the fuel used and remaining.
  • Real-time and no additional sensors required.
- Added new driving mode screen. Press ENTER to toggle between them.
- Added a rebind option in the configuration to re-sync a HUD with the Veypor.
- Dyno Mode end RPM is now in increments of 100 RPM.
- VIR Mode Boot-Up config skips user config and immediately starts timing when the Veypor is turned on.
- Made the start-up mode programmable. The unit will automatically turn on in the users choice of: Driving Mode, Course Timer, Lap Timer, 1/4 Mile, etc.
- Beta version of the Analog Gauges driving graphics are included. (Driving Graphics 4 and 5)
